The Company

Loquent Training & Consulting is a division of Loquent, LLC, a company based in Madison, Wisconsin. We provide technology training and consulting services to a variety of corporate and professional clients.

Our approach involves not only understanding technology, but--more importantly--learning how to apply it creatively. We help individuals with varying backgrounds and technical skills learn how to manage technology effectively in their business and personal lives.

Loquent, LLC's core principles are to:

• Develop customized training programs that address each client’s needs, rather than using a “one size fits all” approach.
• Provide consulting services that help our clients make effective use of technology, and also to learn when technology may not be the best solution.
• Provide audience-appropriate communications that creatively and effectively present complex technological concepts.

The People

Loquent, LLC, is owned and operated by Ken and Donna Doyle, who act as principal consultants for the company.

Ken Doyle holds a PhD in molecular biology from Purdue University and an MS in organic chemistry from the University of Massachusetts--Boston. His experience includes technical and scientific communications, project management, and information technology consulting. He worked at Madison-based biotechnology companies and a medical communications agency before starting his own business and founding Loquent. Ken's presentations have covered topics such as computer security, digital lifestyle applications, and various Macintosh applications. Ken has also written regular columns for local media on personal and business technology.

Donna Doyle holds a BA in behavioral science from Wilmington College and a BS in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin--Madison. Donna's work experience has spanned diverse settings in the field of developmental disabilities. Her skills include public relations, communications program development, volunteer coordination, and staff training and evaluation.
